i'v heard the stock tranny can handle right around 650 RWHP. But that's just what i heard.

 

Yeah, I think the key to keeping the stock drivetrain is eliminating all movement/slop/wheelhop.

 

so will powershifting an fd (keeping ur foot floored while shifting, using the clutch of course) decrease tranny life?? i was told this also and i didnt wanna try it.

 

hell if it does, then it just counter acts the supposed 22% more tranny life i get from haveing a 9.5lbs flywheel. And since i only do it when i'm racing it's not really a big deal. But i'll tell you what it works, and it works good.
