Well i'v allready lost one rear end to wheel hop, and if i dont get it fixed soon i'm going to lose another. I found solid diff mounts at RX7.com for 125 do these work well? Also who all makes a diff brace and how much are they?

Use the brace first, that should solve your problems, the stiffer bushings will not be of any additional help.

Dragon and KGparts make them. I've had both. Dragon's is by far the lightest. I had fitment issues with the KGparts diff brace. I had to cut a section out so it would fit without rubbing my exhaust hanger. I switched to a high flow cat and the hanger was even higher so I switched to Dragon's brace. If I remember right they were between 135-150 but don't quote me on that...

Yeah, try the braces.

boostedFD3S has tranny and diff braces and that damn driveline is SOLID. No hop.. just spin, grab, squat and launch!

I don't see trailing and toe links in your sig.

If tire hop is your problem, do the links first. Cars run in the 10's without all these braces.

the ones that do are lucky. i was not i had pettit trailing arms, diff brace and trans brace and a t2 lsd and i finally stopped blowing up rear end parts

FikseRxSeven 04-07-2004 06:58 PM

toe links and trailing arms will not eliminate wheel hop, i've done the research https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

diff brace however is almost a guarantee that you wont hop again

-=RX-7 KID=- 04-07-2004 08:05 PM

right that's also what i have been told, you need a diff brace. links and arms only help a little they dont take it all away.
