The PMC will go into limp mode for sure. Also just keep it and it cant hurt to add a little pre-mix aswell or the pettit stuff.

Rikki - wow, havent seen you around in about a year or so.

I premix only and use my OMP for decoration in my garage. For that extra "clean engine bay" look I even cut all the wires out of the harness haha......oh yea, I'm running a PFC so you might not can do that

I've used 2 different oils, Mobil 1 synthetic 2 stroke oil from AutoZone, it comes in 16oz bottle and I just use one bottle per fill up. I've also used Amsoil 2000 2 stroke racing, its also very good and comes in 32oz bottles so I use 1/2 a bottle per fill up. The Amsoil also has a clear part on the side and its marked by the oz so you can just use small amounts if its a partial fill up.

I like them both the same. I usually grab about 10 of those paper funnels out of a gas station and keep them in a bag in the hatch along with about 5-6 tanks worth of premix.

BTW - I've been on premix only for about 11K HARD miles (as in 18-20psi daily on pump gas) and I just pulled my engine apart last night and there were no adverse signs of wear. Everything looked great.

I've been using MMO 1:1 since installing the Haltech and engine rebuild.

Probally for about 10k-12k mi. I took the pump off and made a block

off plate for it. It frees up alot off room. Makes it alot easier to get the

stock turbos on/off, especially when putting the front oil return line back on.

Anybody else got any more opions or facts on why not to use MMO.

My motor would definitely see two-stroke oil as well. I like the stuff by Maxima, as I have used it in personal watercraft for many years and ended up with fairly clean motors, internally. Downside is the fact that one is probably going to have to source it from a motorcycle or watercraft store or order it.

I like a lot of Amsoil's products but their two-stroke oil sure isn't one of them.

Regardless, I would suggest an oil that is meant to be burnt, not one that isn't. :]
