You people who do not use an OMP.

Do you remove it?

Whats the added benefit?

I use 4oz. of Marvel mystery oil with every tank of gas.

Is that what you consider premix?

please ellaborate..

well normally depends on what type of driving you are going to be doing.

1:1 mix ... 1oz of oil/1 gallon - Race

or

.5:1 mix ... .5oz of oil/1 gallon - normal driving.

do NOT use MMO to premix...it isnt a premix nor is it meant to

use only TCW-3 certified 2 stroke oils....you can get them at any gas station if you dont mind using "regular oils" or you can always get amsoil or redline or whatever

the pros:

better combustion running 2 stroke and fuel rather than 4 stroke and fuel, better burn rate

cleans up engine bay a LOT

cons?:

gotta mix at every fill up? ... not too bad since you already do right?

MMO is ok to add to gas while using the OMP but dont use it as a premix alone

get a block off plate from K2RD, take off omp, block the injector holes with bolts, much nicer now

oh and for amount, use around 4-5oz per fillup for normal driving.... about 8 for race days

That's the mixture I use. 1:1 almost all the time.

Thanks for the quick lesson.

I can't see how that it cleans outthe engine bay much seeing as how the oil injectors are pretty small and the OMP is way down on the bottom of the block.

But a mod isa mod and I like to do as many as I can if they are better than what I got.

Thanks again..

Is the fd omp electrical or mechanical. If electrical does it have a limp mode like s5(s)?

cool, should be good then considering what I have already removed..

Ratsnest, ABS, AWS, yadda yadda and a good portion of my manifold.

My engine bay is starting to resemble a truck from the 70's,, Lots of elbow room....

its electrical.. i would imagine on a stock ECU if it was failing you would go into limp mode.
