I just recently got a Reman block.. But it happens to be that i dont have an OMP.I hear it causes a limp mode IF NOT CONNECTED.

I have a stock 1991 NA with stock ECU..I got a friend who bought a 13B-RE motor ...and has no need for the OMP... is that OMP electrical? and is it compatible with the 1991 13B engine N/A block and ECU... Thanks for your time guys..
