Right on! I At least found out what is wrong with my engine.. It had a stuck side seal, But the reason it stuck is a weird one... The side seal groove has a chunk of metal in it or it's part of the rotor..???

You can see a small shiny raised metal spot in the side seal groove .....The chunk of metal would not allow the side seal to seat all the way and making the engine stiff..

I have a spare rotor but this one has already been balanced.

What could I do to get rid of this chunk of metal.????

Thanks again guys.

The rotors are cast nodular iron, and machine quite easily. Make a tool of a piece of broken side seal . Sharpen the end of the tool and tap it back and forth through the faulty area with a tiny hammer. In a short time you can machine away the excess material. Take another piece of side seal and grind it a bit thinner on the end. Fold a bit of 320 silicone carbide paper over the end and run that through the groove with some lite oil or kerosene. The groove will be restored, and you will be back in business.

That rotor bearing is down through the copper and should be replaced. Even a bearing from another used rotor would be better.

Picture is CART indycar headers in Inconel at about $10,000 each set. Made of small flat pieces rolled and welded. No bends are used. Each one is a fabrication of small pieces.

Odd looking piece is the waste gate header. in stainless.
