Now I've cleaned up after me and takes weekend.

This took a lot longer than I guessed. Then it's always so well with the first, but had probably hoped for smoother processing

Has anyway tried to run a finishing the outline today. Is not quite satisfied, however, it does not matter for the function. Has left 0.5mm for further testing

To be continued in the Christmas Holidays!

Great job! I can't wait to see this thing run!

What are you going to do for the apex seal slots to ensure they don't wear prematurely?

Also, how are you going to seal the side plates to the body of the rotor for the oil?

You'll see when I come there. Difficult to explain, but I have a plan

Tried a little bit smaller step this face. What do you think about the comp-ratio in the bottom?

Good or silly...?

Any idea of design flaws Mazda may have made and/or you might try to improve or fix? Just wondering if there will be any type of directional finish on the rotors themselves? WIll you be making your own rotor housings? Rock on!

The only bad thing with older Mazda Rotors are the tolerance between them. There could be big differens in comp-ratio for example. Then they started to CNC-mill the face, and it got better. The weight should be around 3700grams on this one, and that a little better than 4000-4200gram stock.

No, Rotorhousings feels like a difficult part to make. Maybe center-plate though.
