engine bogging help

my cars engine is boging like crazy when i put my pedal like an 1/8th of the way down. i checked the engine codes and it said it was the air intake thermosensor on the afm. i replaced it and the car still is doing the same thing, again i checked the engine code and its saying the same thing. i've also tryed to clear the ecu by unpluging the negitive battery cable for 10min and to still didnt clear the ecu. can someone help me

which code did it throw, just one long, or a long followed by a short?



There is another intake thermosensor (this would indicate the long/ short code), on the back of the vdi manifold near the oil filter, they get knocked off all the time, make sure it is plugged in good.

so you swapped out a whole different afm?



did you check the resistance of the either of the afm's you have?



If the resistance is acceptable then it could be a bad wiring or grounding issue.

ok i tested the connectors resistance using an ohmmeter set at 200. I got back 0.6 from each of the pins. I not sure if i did it right but thats what i got.
