Thumbs up

ok, for a while my car has been making some rough klunking noises seeming to come from the rear when going over any small bumps, loud enough to hear over my exhaust and radio... several shops told me that its a bad wheel bearing, also they said it could be bad springs and shocks... i just recently installed my new jic coilovers and it still sounds as bad. so the other day i jacked up the car and took off the wheels and noticed that i was able to hold under the brake and wiggle the wheel, and when i did i noticed the connection between the upper arm and where it mounts to the brake has alot of side to side play.. and the same for the other wheel... is it simply a bad pillow ball , bushing... what else could be making this damn noise! any help would be greatly appreciated..... thanks

What year is this for? If the 3rd gen they are know for clunking in the rear after time. Its usually the infamous rear bushings. If so they need to be replace with new OEM or aftermarket pillowball bushings.
