Mki Mr2 Black/black 5-speed F/s In Ny
#1
FWIW: I thought I'd advertise my little MR car for sale (mr2's and rx7's share some similiar qualities ). This sale is going toward a more practical daily driver I am trying to find as a car for the winter and when I can't drive the future FD to come.
Anyways:
The car I have for sale is a MKI Mr2 with 76k miles.
Previous owner replaced clutch and belts. But did not update A/C (Boo!).
I bought it with a Cracked Sunroof that didn't leak, but replaced it with a mint one! (Thanks to the awesome Mr2 community fella's!)
I've also put two new front tires on, with the rears still in very good shape.
So, the car doesn't leak anything (engine wise) nor does it leak anywhere in the cabin. Manual windows, locks, and steering .
The Probs:
Nothing Mechanically 'cept if you consider the Engine light being on a major prob. The cause of it might be an 02 sensor in reference to the exhaust, its not loud and doesn't sound like it has a huge hole in it, but just "different".
MKI Mr2's have a "Rust spot" that almost all NE MK1's get behind the rear wheels. Mine has that (Not if I owned it it's whole life!). They make repair kits for $80 each side. Not too shabby.
The previous owner only used it as a weekend car, and was an older gentlemen so he had a toyota mechanic check the car out 2-3 times a year and do any work it needed.

*Note: Yes the rims/steels are ugly but I have a number for someone selling nice mint alloy rims that will fit beautifully for $300 all four with tires.
Asking $2k.
