I've had some interest in seeing our team's MR2. It aint much to look at right now, becuase we focuse most of the work to performance. It's a '91 NA(for now) w/ 1320eng intake, 1320eng TB, jacobs ignition, S-AFC, supra fuel pump & injectors, eibach sport spring set, assortment of guages, weight reduction, custom oil cooling setup, and NX express running 55shot right now. Best time was 9.4 1/8th mile. Here are some pics of it. I took these today as we are replacing some gaskets that blew out near the intake manifold and we also are installing a ported camry upper intake manifold..since the NOS kinda cracked the last one .

Pic from the side...thats my buddy Larry(not a team member, but will be a parttime mechanic at our shop..funniest man alive I swear!)

One of the turbos we'll be using. The other one is just like it, but we haven't rebuilt it yet. Don't ask about the paint...he likes red.

This shots for Unique...I told ya he wrecked his car a while ago. We already replaced the rear lights, but you can still the scuff marks on/below the wing and below the rear lights...thats not dirt, its just big scratches/scuffs...

Last pic, it wouldn't be right to not show a motor pic. This pic is kinda fuzzy, but it shows all the mods, you can see the ignition pak towards the back corner, the NX express solenoids near the trunk/firewall, and the nicely repainted valve cover. The TB and intake aren't in the pic...we had to remove them to get to some stuff...

We have an 86 Toyota...

brand new 4AGE motor... I know not a powerhouse motor but it needed a new one....

it is fast enough to take out Probe GT's...

I personally like them ours runs really high rpm's on the highway so I dont like that. But man they rev high as hell.....

Nice! I always liked the looks of the later MR2's, and I even like the early ones although they are a little boxy. I actually don't like the MR2S or whatever the new MR2 is called. I don't like the way the headlight and tail lights kind of stick out, but I don't think its ugly either, just not my style.
