'91 Mr2 vs '00+ focus

Well, some of you may have read the post where I was talking about putting the nitrous on my buddy's Mr2...well the day before I had to go to jail, he wanted to go race up in one of the bigger cities around here(funny...isn't racing what I was going to jail for? somethings never change...)...well anyways, we drove around for about 2 hours, got something to eat...there was NOBODY out wanting to run..well as we were leaving, this '00+ or so Focus Zx3 or something like that was weaving in and out of traffic...we pull up to him at about 30/35MPH...he looked over and gunned it...pulled like 2 car lengths on us(MR2s are slow w/out boost of some sort)...well his girlfriend was sitting in the passenger seat laughing...so we had to redeem the car, lol...we caught up to him at a few lights down...my buddy armed the switch and let it roll...1st gear about dead even, 2nd gear pulled ahead, 3rd gear...about two car lengths ahead. That focus had that "WHAT THE ****?" look on his face...and his girl didn't look happy either, lol...guess he didnt get any that night 
stupid ford owners(no offense)....

We got an MR2 I do like it... but it is a torqueless bastard! But fun if you willing to wind it up 5000-8000 Rpm's! Below 4 Grand nothing going on!
But man it can corner! Sweet cars!
150hp jet in an N/A Mr2 5 spd would be fun. Wonder if it would handle it????¿¿¿¿
That may be enough for it to consider challenging a 96-02 Cobra... but not to win though it might take out some unsuspecting GT's and Z28's!!
