This honda was purchased with the intention of building and turbocharging the existing D16Y8 SOHC VTEC engine. Pistons were replaced with Suzuki Vitara 75mm. Compression has been lowered to 8:5.1 so I can raise the boost to 22psi pump, and 34psi on c16 race fuel. The stock I-Beams were replaced with Eagle H-Beam rods. 320 plus horsepower on pump gas is typical for this setup.

About me:

I think its always nice to know a little about the previous owner, so here it goes... I am a Senior Network Administrator & Day Trader. Its a pretty calm environment most of the day. Unfortunately about 12 years ago, I got bit with the adrenaline rush that comes from racing. Soon after I found myself working on engine swaps, then to engine buildup, forced induction and so on.

I found that the "building" aspect of the car is my true love. I also happen to dump a ton of money in my buildups. My wife aka "The Bank", keeps track of my spending.. So im only allowed one project at a time. When she shows me the bills im ringing up, I come to a understanding... quite quickly.

Now its time to sell my project im bored with basically. Here's my last two projects I sold.

My Recent Projects...

1994 EG B18C1 w/ITR CONVERSION

http://www.m-s-a.org/d15b_eg/index.html

1992 EG D15B VTEC TURBO

Just like both my past projects.. This car will NOT pass smog! Buyer is responsible for the smog.

If you view PLEASE BUMP!

You know that 22psi is equal to about 25:1 compression, right? That would make a mean NA motor.

No, seriously. Or 17:1 with 11psi... I like the latter.

Quicker spool time, less turbo needed in the first place.... "But they don't MAKE 17:1 pistons!" Mill the heads, get the chambers welded, and run longer valves.

But that's just me. And I am not sane.
