I've used a slide hammer and a screw before. It works for me.
I hate drilling them out. Takes too long.

My drill bits died a quick death on the roll pins. I used my dremel cutting wheel to sever the pins through the gap between the sleeves and housing end, allowing me to remove the sleeves. Then I punched the pin stubs out of the holes with a drift.

wow! all you guys snapping drill bits and what not, far out, I must have a super drill bit!! hehe i did break one doing it though, but that was a drill bit you should only use for wood, then i found this nice steel one and they came out in like 5mins no worries.

Use a die grinder with a small cutting wheel and carefully cut a notch right through the inside of the sleeve right to the pin. Now use a punch and hammer. Two or three wacks later from the outside will drive the pin through your cut groove. Pull out you sleeve by hand. This should only take a few minutes.

Try this method out, guys. It works really well for me (most of the time )
