Exhaust sleeve question?
Is it worth me welding up the two air injecton holes in the Exhaust sleeves?
I am going to loose all my Emitions stuff (i live in the UK so i don't need it
) I've just been reading my Race beat catalog (page 60) and it would seem a good idea? It must make the Exhaust Sleeve flow better if there it doesn't have two holes in it?
The Main reason they give for the Mod is with the Air Injecton removed the Hot exhaust Gasses travel up the passage ways heating the lower Inlet manifold.
I'm thinking about welding the sleves up and pressing an alloy bung into the passage in the Rotor housing but Do you think welding the sleeves up its worth the agro of removing the Sleeve pins?
Cheers
Chris

No i ment remove the sleeves, weld up the air holes in the sides then smooth it all out and replace (using the OE pins) as RB recomend in there catalog?

Stuff an aluminum plug in the passage and tig it from the bottom.
