well i can tell u the weight of the full engin because my engin lift tells me :P it was 260lbs about two bags of cement i can lift it on my own but not very high or els all **** up meh back :P

Is it possible to get plates specifically for building Peripheral Ported engines, e.g. ones without ANY side ports in them.



I suspect Mazda cast their own custom ones for 26B and their racing 3 rotors as well.



It would be quite nice to be able to build an engine with these as I imagine it would increase the reliability of the PP a lot.



From my understanding the main thing that kills PP engines is the devcon (epoxy crap) coming lose or breaking down in the side ports that have been blocked off.

pports are quite reliable if done well.

yes racign beats aluminum plates that they offered u could get without any side ports just in case u went pport.

not sure what is inside the 26b

S5 short block, no oil pan, no water pump. 170 lbs.



The shipping weight includes the pallet.
