mike
So I would need post '86 housings then too?What about EFI?Should I go series 4 or 5?Or is a good carb(Weber)just as good?[/quote]

i think this might be what youre after. dont know how streetable it its, but it sure is nice. 275 RWHP NA its from one of our new members 7heaven.
Damn I wonder if you can aquire that type of power with newer housing?1900 lbs is good.I would be running full interior but with 275 hp NA before NOS it could still make a stock FB really move.On a engine like that I would run a 75 shot thru it seeing as the compression is up already.

Hey, that's my idea! :smirk:
I have seen Anniversary Rotary Factory in Japan do these conversions w/ NOS.

FC(S5) - BT blk, no turbo, NOS wet set up

FD - REW blk, no Turbo, twin NOS wet set up

Really clean.....They fab'd their own velocity stacks, elbow (to TB), and headers.

So they buy turbo cars and strip the good stuff off for NOS???Why not just boost it up?

Well, the owner of that place (who I call Monkey Man) does things alittle different. Those conversion were done 4 years ago + there were no N/A NOS'd out rotaries.
