Red face

Hey guys, I just got confirmation I can get a rebuildable enigne for $500.00. I will be posting pictures in this subject when I get the engine and the progress as I go. I am so siked out! I can't wait to start.

Any suggestions or comments? I haven't bought parts yet. I will be selling my old engine when I am ready to swap out with the one I am getting.

be careful..

the condition of the rotor and housings requires inspection..

prior to labeling it rebuildable..

YES. Very good point. You can't just re-surface them or put sleeves in there... They are consumable and cost 450.00 each new.

The guy I am working with will help me out if anything is bad. He rebuilds them for his business.

What is costing 500? The laber? (my friend charges 400 for laber for me)Most of the time you can use good used housings and rotors, unless the engine blew and apex seal and made some nasty marks.
