Hey guys, I just got confirmation I can get a rebuildable enigne for $500.00. I will be posting pictures in this subject when I get the engine and the progress as I go. I am so siked out! I can't wait to start.

Any suggestions or comments? I haven't bought parts yet. I will be selling my old engine when I am ready to swap out with the one I am getting. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

be careful..

the condition of the rotor and housings requires inspection..

prior to labeling it rebuildable..

YES. Very good point. You can't just re-surface them or put sleeves in there... They are consumable and cost 450.00 each new.

The guy I am working with will help me out if anything is bad. He rebuilds them for his business.

What is costing 500? The laber? (my friend charges 400 for laber for me:D)Most of the time you can use good used housings and rotors, unless the engine blew and apex seal and made some nasty marks.
