In examining the photos from the previous thread on this topic, I was appalled at the absolutely shoddy workmanship on these high $$ motors. I've never ported a rotary, but I have tons of experience with two-stroke roadracing motorcycle engines, and some of the stuff I've seen in these engines is--as has been mentioned-- an absolute joke. I simply cannot believe any shop owner whose customers are spending at least $4K at a crack would even let that out of his shop. No beveling of port edges? No chamfering of oil holes? Mismatched ports? Absolutely unbelievable.
But what makes matters worse is the complete lack of customer service. That in itself would be cause for major flaming, and again, I cannot believe that someone who knows anything about small business would blow people off like this, for fear of the negative backlash would inevitably occur.

those pics are an extreme disappointment and worthy of a lawsuit against that company.

Has anyone ever wondered why Rob chose the name Pineapple Racing for his shop, knowing that the common nickname for an old style GRENADE is PINEAPPLE?
Hmmmmmm
Is there truth in advertising?

This kinda sucks and is great. Pineapple is a local shop, so its makes a lot sense to get a motor there, but damn that is quite a few shitty motors from there. I had Rob rebuild my transmission, and have dealt with him personally quite a few times. And he seems to be a good business person, in person, but you guys, trout, 93blackFD, and banzai seem to have got screwed.
Thank God I rebuilt my own engine, just don't know what I am going to do when I build the go-fast motor.
