These were sent to me. I will post for your review and to throw stones. The porting shop is labled by the owner who paid to have this work done. I am copying and pasting his comments of what they found when they opened the motor inthe email I received.
PIC #1 0290 - Note the JBWeld repair after coolant came out the exhaust when motor first installed. |
0295 - No bevel on any exhaust ports of the two motors
|
0296/0297 - looks like the rotors were never cleaned according to Steve.
This motor ran in the garage for about 5 hours total. |

|
0303 - motor no. 3 had lot of blow-by and low oil pressure. Here we see the
worst blow-by where the side seal was stuck. The other side of the rotor has small amounts of blow-by at the corners. |
0305 - No bevel on exhaust port and odd shaped port. If you notice many of
the lines on the ports aren't straight or symmetrical. |
0306 - I paid for stage 3/large port. Notice that one motor has ports so
big the plates are junk and the last motor has mild port. Note how the huge port motor intake opens early. More like n/a porting. The motors did have the 3mm hurleys that I paid for but he used two different style corner seals. |
0309 - Nice gouge in the bearing.
|
0310 - Oil jets for bearings were enlarged but notice how the edges weren't
cleaned up. |
0315 - Notice the difference in port closing. One is higher and the shapes
are different. |
