Gt Mustang W/exhaust Vs. Fd
#1
I went out for a drive early this morning before it got hot and spotted a new style GT Mustang with an after market, much louder than stock sounding exhaust. The dual pipes protruded through the back bumper. I'm not sure if that's the stock location, but can't remember seeing one like it in the past. It was a very nice looking car with a nice set of fancy chrome wheels. Anyway I just happen to hit a red light with the guy. I wasn't quite sure if he'd get on it, but after the gratuitous look back and forth at each other it seemed as if he was ready to go. I rolled out on green taking it easy on my drive line, making sure he'd punch it. As his engine roared that distinctive stomp on it Ford sound it was clear he was into it. Still in first myself, I nailed it and flew by him like a slingshot. LOL I hit second and got a little fishy with the 265 S02s and then hooked up to proceed through the gear. I was about a half block ahead by the end of second and didn't bother with third. I slowed down to let him catch up and pass, and gave a little toot of my ricer sounding horn. He looked a bit angry. Letting him pass I noticed he had the dealer paper plates showing it was a 1999 used vehicle, which must have recently been purchased. I felt a bit bad to burst his bubble, but oh well. It's all for fun, right? His car was very good looking.
