Was driving to a local hang out in Fredericksburg, VA (the lot as we call it). Got on to rt 1 and this 94 GT flies by me and then hits his brake and gets beside me. He starts to rev his motor up and it sounds like exhaust and maybe a cam. I decide not to rev up my motor (don't want to scare him away with my nice Greddy Type S) and just drop it to 3rd gear and slow down to around 40. He takes off, so I go. He had the lead for about a second, then I hit 4th and just left him in the dust. I didn't walk him, I sprinted. It was just no competition.



He followed me to the lot and asked what the hell kinda car that was. I told he it was an 87 1.3L Turbo 2 RX7 (had to throw the 1.3L in there ). He looked at me with his jaw dropped, like "WTF!?!?! A 1.3L!?!?!" I asked what did he have done to his car, he replied "Headers, full exhaust, Throttle body, and a mild cam"



That was a fun time. I just think its funny that I beat him with a stock clutch with 92K miles on it. Yeah, it was burning.

Thanks man. That was a fun night. . I guess I should also have said that my car is basically stock, it boosts 10psi and has no interior.
