Well I was up at my work ( a car dealership) and this older lady (about in her 50 or 60's) trades in a Maroonish red Thunderbird V8 95 model. Mint condition basically. So I got to looking at the car. Checked out the blue book on it. OUCH 8300 bucks. Got discouraged. But had to clean the car up for the lot so we could sell it. Well got some interest back in the car. Went up and asked my boss what we are asking for it. He said 7900 for the general public. So I stopped and asked him 7900 for the general public? he says yep. That got my mind going a bit. So I asked him if he is asking that for the public whats my price. He said 4200. Sounding better!! But still too high so I told him I need it lower he dropped to 3900 then to 3600. I still want lower but that price may not budge much now. We have close to that in the car already. But this car has 64,xxx miles and is basically mint condition. A lot nicer and quieter a bit slower than my gt but a car I could take on road trips. I have so far only been offered 1500 for my GT. I am wanting more like 2500 or so for it. So we will see......

Also if I buy this Tbird I will probabley have white face guages and maybe wheels and window tint all packaged into the loan. That way I have a somewhat custom Tbird. I want to get a stereo too for it. But not sure on that. I dont plan on keeping this a slow Tbird. If I get it I plan on switching to 99 GT heads cam and intake I found them for 600 bucks. And switch to slightly higher rearend gearing and put a mild exhaust on it. That way I can still hang with 5.0's and Newer GT's. But we shall see. This car is so nice and clean!!!

I know its not a RX7 but there are very few available in my area and the ones that are for sale are kind of rough and have high miles. I have looked nothing really out there. Plus I have never seen one come into any of the dealerships I worked at.

the big question is, auto or manual? either way though, now that I think about it, it is a V8 which means it may be ok with an auto, but you know, you always have more fun with a stick. =)

Im not sure the intake will clear your hood. Ford put a lower intake on the T-Bird and Cougar to clear the hood when they went to that last design.
