Heh, SHOs are pretty quick, they pull hard. They are powered by Yamaha not Ford that's why (yes all of them, even the V8s are Yamaha engines). My cousin used to have one. Thing revved to 8000rpm. One mean engine. But the tranny was dire. Acceleration was like this: SQUEEEELWAAAAAAAAAH . . . . . . . . . . . . . . CLUNK!WAAAAAAAAAAH . . . . . . . . . . . CLUNK!WAAAAAAAAAH . . . and so on. But when it was in gear it sure hauled. Still had the handling of a Taurus though, a little stiffer but no sports car.

 

Ok, went and took some pics of that tempo, it's white tho in the picture of the front end it looks blue, it was in the shadows there was a huge van parked next to it.....
