man, #1. yep definitely need to get it running right, but if u goto 2nd generation specific and read the one entitle winter is here in (more crap after that but i don't wanna type it)..it get pretty hard to keep it going......#2 i did shift into 5th gear, and i think it was about 4k rpm, my fault....#3 6 cyl tempo?!?! i saw a chopped escort with a v-8, couldn't drop the clutch over 3k or he'd twist the frame, spent like 5-6grand on an 88 escort LOL poor guy.....i need to gut the cats and take off ps and ac crap soon, maybe after winter, ihave a friend that guts cats and welds straight pipe thru them (so u can pass visual inspection) i may get ahold of him this weekend..> cuz my cats are in bad shape anyway......

Hey ppl, speaking of those v6 Tempos, there is one where i LIVE!!!! it's light blue (maybe repainted?) has that V6 badge behind wheel wells, other than that looked like a normal Tempo, maybe somebody just put the badge on, dunno, gonna try to find out tho....
