Ian,

Friend (maybe not after tonight j/k)

went down to the track.

He has greddy frount mount, remapped ECU, S4 Tubro, fuel pump AVCR, running 9 to 10 psi. 93 rotors, 93 housings, 255/40/17 rear tire

Me: apexi SAFC, AVCR, stock original turbo with 195,000 kms original engine. running 9 psi, 205/55/16 rear tire

here are the results:

at the end of the night we both noticed we could not boost as much as before. I think my top mount was heat soaked. and his front mount was not getting any airflow at the staging lanes...

BTW this was my first time drag racing. WOAH!

I didn't break anything.

First time out, not too bad, seeing the street eliminator I assume you are running a .500 light (there is .500 of a secong between a light down to green) What I suggest you do next time, keep everything the same except one thing, launch your car on the third yellow that will yeild you a better reaction time, and if you look at the first time slip posted you lost by .850. With a little better reaction time, you may have beaten him. With a jump off the line some guys get intimidated so bad they pay less attention to what their car is doing and are more worried about trying to catch up to the car that just jumped half a car length ahead off the line.

The set up are fine but the times need some improvement. But it all takes time.
