First off they are perfectly visible to me while driving. No offence but I didn't build a show car. I have a purpose built street-drag car. That I have been wrenching on and tinkering with for the last four years. So I set it up to what suites me and my needs. You see how the guages are set to the drivers side slightly? Thats so my hand doesn't block my view while shifing gears. Also temp gauges are not so critical that I have to see them at all times such as with a boost guage. It's not as though my temps are going to shoot through the roof in the 1 second it takes me to glance down at them. Could you explain to me why would I need temperature gauges in my direct line of sight? Sounds like you been to one to many car shows my man. Also I ony spent $120 for the pair of gauges new. Ebay can be your friend too.

RX7Trix doesn't always have the best prices.

Secondly I have made the same console conversion and sold it. They are not hard to make and Jay, Wael, and myself are not the only ones who have made them. If you search there is a how to. Wael had one linked on www.efini.net

I searched for it, www.efini.net is down. Where can I find the how-to to do the console conversion?
