S5 A/F gauge install

what wire on the wiring harness is the signal wire for the 02 sensor

when i put mine in, i just spliced the wire that was in the engine bay, coming directly outta the O2 sensor....then ran that in through the little hole for the throttle cable, up to the pod.

i ran mine off the o2 lead on the ecu. i dont have my book with me at work, i can check which wire it is when i get home.

what a/f meter do you guys recommend? I was looking into making my own but I already have enough DIY projects...

I did the same exact thing. I wonder if there would be a different reading from that location and the ECU? .....probably not, just curious.



I'm using an Autometer Phantom series....

if you dont have the book, you can use continuity checker. put one end on the o2 sensor and start checking pins, i would recommend you still use it to double check
