I will trim it to fit instead of overhanging it the way I was going to.

im sorry dave, normally you have good taste, but that panel doesnt

go with the car at all. Your car is very high class, and that panel

just looks thrown in there.

Trim it, flush it, and paint it, maybe even paint it with a black

textured finish like the dash

actually even if you dont paint it.... and just leave it flush, it wouldnt look half bad cuz it will be matching your steering wheel

Dave,

I think it looks pretty cool, but also have to partially agree that it doesn't QUITE flow. Little more flush like said before. You could also do this:

I'm agree that a recessed mount would look best, if you were to bracket it to the internal stereo surround, trim it, then lay the AC surround over it that would be better. I'm not sure if you'll run into a problem with the internal stereo surround being set back from the rear face of the AC surround, maybe leaving a gap. But then again, if you were to bracket it to the stereo internal surround, you could just build your brackets to lift the gauge plate up to fulsh with the rear surface.. Or maybe trim it down to exactly the DIN size, then build the brackets out enough so that the Gauge panel sits flush with the front face of the AC surround, then paint the whole thing black.

Sorry, I'm kinda rambling there..
