that sounds about right, i priced out about 1/3 reduction with solar and it was 25k to go 100% it costs even more as you have to store massive amounts of energy, to something like a 1/3 you dont have to store quite as much... keeping in mind that a good portion of y our consumption is in the evenng hours.

DALLAS - Exxon Mobil Corp. said Thursday it earned $10.36 billion in the April-June period, the second largest quarterly profit ever recorded by a publicly traded U.S. company. ADVERTISEMENT

The earnings figure was 36 percent above the profit it reported a year ago. High oil prices and the growing global appetite for fuel helped boost the company's revenue by 12 percent to a level just short of a quarterly record. Its shares briefly rose to a new high.

this guy actually produced more electric then he needed at sometime, I think there is a way the electric company takes it back and you get credit for what you dont use

there is also the matter of a large increase in your homeowners insurance to cover the equipment sitting on the roof.

Why doesn't the government pull back the taxes on crude?

Wouldn't that alleviate the problem? Hello?

Yea they could just add that shortage to the deficet. Look GW looked into it and he assured us there is no gouging, so I dunno what you guys are complaining about.
