Kayaking the coast of Croatia
#1
So I spent a week, rented a couple sea kayaks and paddled up and down the coast of Croatia with a friend of mine.
Pretty darn sweet. National Geographic rated it as one of the best adventure tours in the world. It was cool, no doubt, but #1... ehhh... Ive done more adventurous.
Croatia has 1300 islands along its coast line. 95% are uninhabited. Which is pretty cool if you want to just pull up to some island at dark and set up camp. The jagged salt rock can make it a bit tough sometimes, but it was still fun.
We ran into a few problems, first being we left with no map and only a compass. We got lost in a few coves and went on the wrong sides of some islands. After 3 days of that, we found a city managed to get a map.
Then my boat sprung a leak in the back storage compartment, which got all my clothes, food, electronics, etc wet. Bad news...lol
So now im in Sarajevo, Bosnia ... this place is pretty crazy.

also, right now im in talks with a producer from the Travel channel about maybe getting something together later in the year. The angle is being an extreme adventure show. Luckily I still have contacts from the deadliest catch. So wish me luck
