you cant drive a jeep everyday, they are toys, not transportation
I do. And so do thousands of others. Wranglers are not the perfect stop/go vehicle...but it is transportation. Bad *** transportation when it gets messy outside! I a huge rotary fan...but I can't drive an rx7 in the snow....

you like punishment then, they are not the most comfortable things to drive
I didnt mean you CANT, I meant it sucks
I agree. I have ridden in a friend's Wrangler, and going over the expansion joints on a decent stretch of concrete interstate got really old, really fast.
There's no doubt that some people actually drive these things on the roads, but they are all masochists.
Oh I agree w/ the punishment thing... but I still do it as it's the most reliable winter vehicle I have. I almost sold it a month after buying it because my back was killing me on a lot of the construction roads around where i live and going into DC doesn't help..their roads suck!
Our found a good seat position though and it's pretty good now...I also like being able to drive onto curbs, medians, etc when jackasses forgot how to drive....

NOT true. The hardtops offer no additional protection in an accident vs. the soft top. It even states this on the hard top when you get one
So a flimsy metal frame and a fabric top provides more protection than a fiberglass shell?
I highly doubt that.

Ummm, the wrangler chassis is pretty ******* tough. It's not the top itself, but the actual steel rollbar that is welded into the frame of the car.
And I agree with the punishment of the ride, but you don't buy a wrangler to expect the ride of a caddy or a benz.
Yeah i know what a wrangler is like I drove my brothers for over a year. Most of the winter i only had the bikini top on it. The bracing for the soft tops are shitty. I have had the bars break on me before.
I don't know how they are on the Trendy Jeep, but on the Yj my brother had they were bolted not welded.

Oh, please! It's an oxcart. Caddy or Benz? Let's be reasonable.
"you don't buy a wrangler to expect the ride of a Plymouth Reliant or a Yugo."
There. Fixed.
