WARNING: LONG POST, AND IT DOES CONTAIN PISTON TALK!!!!

I love car accidents!!! I flipped my wrangler last night in accokeek on Bryan Point RD. Took a turn to fast, actually underestimated the turn, went into other lane, smacked the brakes. Went up onto a embankement about knee high, smacked the front bumper on a telephone pole, and rolled onto it's side, and it smacked the pavement HARD!!!!!

Luckily though, I am not hurt, except for being really sore. No broken windows in the wrangler, everything was throw around inside. There is a VERY small amount of damage for having the passenger side of the truck weighing 3500 pounds hitting the pavement. Only have to replace both fenders, replace the door(or the door skin), and passenger side mirror. Also have to repair the soft top.

I dropped the F-bomb about 200 times though. Luckily, my folks were still up, they rushed down there with our neighbor and his F-250. Slapped a tow strap to the transfer case skid plate, and pulled it right over. Suspension did not bottom out when coming down either.

Did not call cops, no reason to, and did not call insurance company. Again, no reason to, damage is so minimal, I can repair it myself for about 300 bucks. Just turning a few damn bolts.

Only problem is the bitch won't start. I have NO dashboard lights, or the starter will not go. I am thinking it is a fuel cut off switch, or an ignition or clutch cutoff switch in case of a roll over. All fuses checked out fine, I have full power on the battery, all exterior and interior lights work, AC/heat work.

I will always own a wrangler now. And yes, I was wearing my seatbelt too!!!

And another thing, don't give me **** about having an accident not reported, you don't report it to insurance when you roll it offroading, so what's the difference. I plan on owning it for life anyways.

the fords have a fuel cutoff switch. its around the passenger kick panel, placed where, the passengers can kick it. so they show up on tow trucks...

hows that for a serious answer?

lol. kind of sounds like when people have the **** towed in, with check engine light on, and gas cap was not tightened down.

the problem with rollover accidents is the things that you cant see as being obviously wrong.

there's probably a lot of things that are now at their breaking point, or already broken, due to that accident.

as for it not starting, jeeps dont have fuel cutoff switchs, cause then if you were offroading your truck would turn off. basically its time for you to look closer, you could have done something as simple as pinch a wire in the harness while flipping and now your truck wont start.

your lucky you didnt die, if i flipped my jeep id rather get rid of it faster then be all "oh im keeping it for life" i never flipped mine but got it on 2 wheels more then once. each time i did i just was like "gotta get rid of this thing soon"

Yeah, that is the most assbackwords logic i've ever heard!

My jeep rocks because its really easy to flip it, and i drive it too fast! WOOT!

now its broken but its cool cuz im ok....

It could just be a fluke that you are allright. The dude that wrecked the enzo ripped his car in HALF and RAN from the scene after wiping out at ~200 mph. It's all luck...

Yah, dude. I would take this as a wake-up call, not some yee-haw I wrecked my jeep and walked away and I'm invincible ****. You were lucky.

I won't give you any grief about not reporting it. Single car, nobody hurt. They don't need to know. And you are very right not to contact your insurance company.

Sorry I don't have any real suggestions for getting it started. It's probably going to be something big and obvious. Check your battery connections, grounds, starter wiring, etc.

Your dumber then I thought....

As for the fuel cutoff switch...its just that, a FUEL cutoff switch. Its not a starter cutoff switch or a dashboard light cutoff switch.

Oh man, that sucks... wondered what happened w/ the jeep, lol. You are pretty lucky though. I don't this is a "wake up call" to get rid of the vehicle...maybe just always keep in mind it's a wrangler...and there is a reason why insurance companies rank it so high for rollover.

I've got my jeep on two wheels...around a turn in 2nd gear only doing maybe 20mph or less..(it came up when i shifted...damned torque)... but that was a huge wake-up for me... Jeeps aren't cool for highspeed, or even low speed turns, lol.

Fix the JEEP, keep wheelin'...just be more careful man, geebus...your one of the only other jeep owners that I know of on this forum....don't let me be the only one, lol....
