i liked my wrangler, but i dont really miss it. everything was weak in it. of course i had a tj the car-iest version of the wrangler. but in like 8 months i snapped two rears, burnt out the tranny, and all other crap. motor kept chugging tho. and off-roading was fun with all the work i did to it.

i preferred the hard top cause it was quieter, but definitely not gonna save a life, when you unbolt it the thing is a wobbly as a cube of ******* jello. and yea stock rollbars are bolted not welded.

Better yet, just don't flip it! And come on, don't bust on the TJs that much...it's still a jeep. I've got the benz tranny in mine..not so sure about it though, the 5spd version I drove last summer while working for chrysler seemed smoother...

never noticed the difference, just the one missing gear. it's a smooth trans, just a pain going from 5th to 6th. constantly drop down to 4th. jeep should be fixed tomorrow, I already miss driving the thing, I have to drive my 94 f-150. that is just not fun to drive, and it's alot rougher ride. damn leaf spring rear suspension.

My brother had a Yj, that thing kicked *** 2.5 4cyl, manual steering, no A/C(like a jeep should even have that option), pulled out all the carpeting and drain plugs.

I loved driving that thing, it pissed me off when he got rid of it for the same amount I offered him.

that new car feel will quickly fade away when the car payment is not there and you have a nice 360 under the hood.
