the bumper looks great so far

and WTF put that picture into my last post. i dont know who that person is or where it was taken, but i dont think it was funny. if somebody was trying to say that the backyard **** pictured in that photo is anything like the facilities at SJR, then they're sadly mistaken. we have IMO THE nicest facilities of any of the tri-state rotary shops. no offense to other shops, but i dont like what that picture implys and i'd appreciate if whoever attached it would remove it

Yes there have been random attachments since the forum was hacked. I think its's kind of funny the way the images are just popping up out of no where.

Chuck,

What about the slight misalignment between the upper portion of the bumper and the headlight/hood angle? Is there a way to get it to line up a little better?

I'd also rather try to widen the rebar holes rather than just hack off the ends, if possible.

I got a deal on a 99 rebar so I went with it so shouldn't have any fitment issues.

I always just cut it off. I never tried to just enlarge the holes. There isn't much material left after you enlarge it.

So, you would recommend cutting off the ends rather than enlarging the light openings?

Which photo are you referring to? The bumper is flexible so you can do a lot of adjustment.

It's time to take the payment for the remaining. Please go to

http://www.rotaryextreme.com/99bumper.html

Refresh the page and you will see a PayPal link where you can pay for the remaining amount. The handling fee is $25 for the bumper box. Shipping will be paid to the freight company directly. If you are one of the group ship buyer, please do not use the shopping cart link to pay for the remaining amount. You will need to send a money order.

If you are paying for more than one bumper, do not use the PayPal shopping cart link. You will be charged for 3 boxes but the handling will be only $25 per box. So instead of using the PayPal shopping cart link, paypal directly to rotaryextreme@aol.com. Each bumper box is good to fit up to 4 bumpres. So if 4 bumpers are shiped to the same place, you should paypal $275 x 4 + $25 = 1125. You only need to pay for one bumper box, not 3.

Make sure you include your phone numbers so the freight company can call you before they deliver. If you are going on vacation, let me know when is the best time to ship the bumpers.

You can adjust the headlight covers and also use the factory bumper bracing that supports the headlight area of the bumper.

To be honest with you, I didn't even notice that. Very keen eyes.

I can't believe this finally got made... Chuck, I predict that you will be kicking yourself for not doing a large over-run of these, because you're going to be flooded weith requests for them once everyone from this buy starts posting pictures of painted and installed bumpers....

... who woulda thunk it, almost 10 years after this car stopped being imported, and 2 or 3 after they stopped maufacturing them in Japan, somebody finally makes the first urathane nose for a car that only ever had 13,000 examples or so imported.

Thanks Chuck!
