you know, i was just about to ask the same question myself.

but in my case, it's an 89+ TurboII engine into an 88 TurboII chassis.

so for anyone who has done this before..

do i need the cluster, climate control and warning light cluster from the Series 5 turboII to make it work? i will be using the Series 5 harness of course.

(i want to do a complete swap, not just a shortblock swap.)

The guages are different from s4 to s5, I am guessing ideally you would want to swap the cluster. I believe there are a couple differences in the idiot light cluster as well.

The tail lights all have the same plugs and are interchangable, no issue there.
