Well look at the bright side, the year is almost over so this has to be the last one for the year.
With my luck Scott....I'll have it built and blown AGAIN before the year ends

One engine...that sucks but understandable especially if you are new to Fds

Two engines...start to get pissed off at the car and wonder wtf is going on here

Three engines....sell the car without question

Four engines....if you still have the car yur crazy and broke

Five engines....give it up just do the ls1 swap or throw your car away or let someone else try

Thats just what I would do. I'm at 51k on the original motor with ~400rwhp and I hope that it will last me for years to come. I'm taking care of it of course and I just see no reason for it to get messed up since it's tuned very safe.

sorry about your car btw...thats incredible you can work on your car so easily. It takes me forever to do anything at all on mine forget pulling the motor.

seriously though....4 engine rebuilds cost me right around $700~ mainly for the o-ring kit. I also purchased atkins apex seals too.

are you going to use a different core this time? maybe some new housings and low mileage rotors and sidehousings?

I'm going to use different rotors and rotor housings, but am going to use the same end/intermediate plates. Hopefully, this will solve all my engine whoa's for awhile.

Between the two of us we have gone though 7 engines If I was in the states I would of most likely given up, too expensive. But in Japan we are lucky and parts are easy to come by! You learn something new everytime you blow your **** though!

Wednesday = engine building day. We should have it in by Wednesday night. Thursday I'll have to do intercooler piping. That promises to be fun. Hopefully, by the weekend, I'll be cruising around Okinawa breaking in bearings.
