Probably not the best idea. The new Atkins seals are NOT OEM spec material. The coefficient of expansion is higher than the corresponding OEM units. If you want to keep the Atkins seals from seizing when heated, you will have to use factory spec widest slot tolerances as the minimum width tolerance for use with the Atkins seals.

Want to ask me how I know?
Thats why I always use mazda factory stuff

Well look at the bright side, the year is almost over so this has to be the last one for the year.
Spoke too soon...rotor bearings got broken in....changed oil and went out to tune. I guess I had a bad e-shaft and it wore down the front stationary gear bearing to ****. Motor's "blown" again. I took it apart and will be replacing all the bearings again. At least the internals are good though! No stuck corners/side/apex seals.

Actually, the Atkins seals saved my first motor that I blew the **** up at 2.6 kilos boost. Because of their design, they liquified upon detonation and I pulled out ONE bad apex seal and fixed it
