I have the worst luck! Just as I buy my Rx-7 my local Mazda dealership closes and the next closest dealerships are each an hour away! No one else has gaskets!!! I drove to one this morning and their computer was down so he couldn't look up any part numbers. Luckily when I drove all the way back home I called the other one and they were able to ship me my parts. Should be 2 weeks now before I can tackle the vacuum hoses. Damn dealerships, just pointless except for parts...

No, zip ties aren't really needed. I don't tie up my hoes. Silicone is pretty soft and I can hold on to the nipples pretty well. I have to yank off.

yeah you guys were right! Hose tech. did come with tie wraps, i just finished installing them and now i have to put that dam nest back into the car!

And yes those are screws that are holding the rack. i think there's 3 on the back side and 3 on the front. be careful when removing it... i broke 2 solenoid clips trying to free it! i used JB weld to put the clip back on... it's working.

Get Sponsored? I havn't heard that since I was in Junior High with everyone talking about how they're "sponsored" for their skateboarding.

it is a pain in the butt but once i got the solinoid rack out. I used the shop manual and tested each of the solinoids. BTW, use an exacto knife to cut the old hoses off the solinoids, cause they get brittle and if you break one, $50.

here it is inred, take you time, this a good project to learn about your FD. sorry about the quality but the original file was too big.
