No, zip ties aren't really needed. I don't zip tie my hoses. Silicone is pretty soft and can hold on to the nipples pretty well. I have to yank them off.

Hose Techniques sends you about 150 zip ties that match your hose colour. Chill.

Is there anything else I should replace while I'm at it? I also ordered plug wires (Taylor - spiro pro) and I'm going to get the necessary gaskets this week (Throttle body, Extension Manifold, Inlet gasket on the first turbo). As far as plug go, I haven't got any yet. NGK BUR7EQP leading / BUR9EQP trailing? Is that the best to go with. The only upgrades I have is a downpipe, an Apexi AVC-R boost controller & Apexi turbo timer, Fluidyne radiator, and an Aluminum AST. Not much but a good start...

Trust me dude, Zip tie them.

It's an extra 15 seconds per hose of reassurance that they will not blow off.

No rotary shop will do this job without zip ties.

Food for thought.

it's held in place by some 10m nuts(I think) They should be located to the left and right of both the trailing coils.
