the ignition coils are mounted to the soilniod rack with 4 10mm nuts, also there is a ground wire attached to the coil assembly with a 8mm nut. the solinoid rack is mounted to the engine with 4 or 6 10mm bolts, they are hiding under all that mess of hoses

I did the vac hose job about 2 months back. Took me a couple of weeks to do at a slow pace. You have to be VERY patient and careful. Don't do this job unless you have no set deadline and can work slowly and carefully or you'll go nuts.

I used the hose techniques kit. Worked fine for me.

acv comes off as one piece. I think its like 5 bolts. You should just buy block off plates for all that stuff and get rid of it. Most of us have done it and it simplifies the egine bay ALOT!

I've blocked off the EGR and that's about it.. what effect would blocking off the ACV do? can I just block it off or do I need to have other mods in place so make up for it?

you can just block it off.....but you need to go ahead and buy a BOP kit, and do all the blockoffs at once....
