I can put the hood through a few bake cycles, prime it 10 times, and the weave will still come out again after a few really hot sunny days.
As long as it's white and not bumps then I don't think it'll matter, as long as its not like it is now, aka HEY LOOK AT ME IM CARBON FIBER. know what i mean? if you really dont want to do it, i'll buy a FG one.
so the only bad thing is it's heavier? meh, still like it more.
Anywho installed the mazdatrix short shifter, RB Sway bar with mazdatrix adjustable links and the RB sway bar reinforcement bracket along with a new passenger side sway bar mount (stock one was bent to hell). The car ******* handles like a squirrel on acid now. I actually liked how it handled with no sway bar (i didnt have any installed, not even stock as it was fubar) but now with this huge *** bar up there its even more like a go kart. The back bar is on backorder so for now the rear is stock . Oh and i put new crush washers on the rear oil cooler banjo bolt as the ones that were on there were leaking, so thats fixed.
Now i'm waiting for amp's AST to arrive and then I have to decide what to do with the rad which relates to whether i go with the PFS SMIC which i currently have installed or swap out to a custom front mount.... unless i find a decent kit that can handle the power for a good price. for now i like the sleeper effect of the PFS SMIC, but the opening in the bumper is so bleh without a front mount.
