Sup guys...I just bought a 93 RX7 Touring with 70k on the clock for $8200. Is that a good deal? Engine, including the turbos work great. Seems the only things wrong are cosmetic. The interior is dirty and the body has some minor dings here and there and the front bumper is very slightly damaged (good reason to get a J-Spec bumper now! )

I'm not too knowledgable about rotaries, but I sure will be now. Don't worry though, one of my best friends has a 1991 NA RX7 and he rebuilt his whole motor (apex seals) himself, so he knows everything there is to know about rotaries.

So I'm one of you guys now. I own (and still own) a VW Corrado too. We'll find out soon enough which one becomes my number 1...hehe...Well, here's my RX and my Corrado:

8200 seems pretty good. For half of that you could have made the Corrado faster than a 996...

Oops...I guess I forgot to edit my info...I'm from Long Island NY. I took a chance and bought my car off ebay from a used car dealership in NJ. So far so good.

Its a 5 speed...I'm having trouble with the 1-2 shift when I don't rev out the rotary past 4k before shifting. Is that normal? Also is the clutch engagement supposed to be really high? Thanks...And thanks for the compliments. I feel really welcomed on these forums. Thanks guys.

Try asking things like that in the 3rd gen forum...the shifting issue, i think no car should have a problem shifting to any gear and reving itr to 4000 to change doesnt seem right at all to me but i got an fc and owned many standard cars before and no problem like that...
