Sounds like a nice deal. Personally I'm no fan of the black hood on white car rice boy look but to each their own. How do you like that to4z? Did you threadlock the compressor nut down yet? I hear those are pretty prone to coming loose and taking out the compressor wheel. Post more pics. I want to see the engine bay.

the exterior isnt done, hood will be painted white, same as the rets of the car, i should take a pic of the hood that replaced then you can see why i was in a rush to put anything on there, plus the hood has some big yellowed spots. I'm not into ricer boy fads either, and still cant believe i have a huge carbon fiber patch on my car, im not a fan of CF. And personally, i liked your car better with the MS hood, mainly because it stood out more, saw your pics from the BBQ and your car didnt jump out anymore, of course that also has its benefits. Your car just used to be like "BAM!", I'm considering that PFS front tho, so nice and simple and clean.

i think the compressor nut problem is more of an HKS problem, but thats a good point, i've seen the aftermath of some of those so I'll have to double check it.

The t04z I havent experienced yet, still no boosty for me. Kahren is gonna tune the car soon, hopefully before June 24th so I can go up to Bear Mountain, then i can give you the report. All i do no is that i cant go over like 30% throttle without that thing trying to spool, and the sound of it sucking in air even at 0psi is massive. I'm still not sure if I like the anti-surge thing, but I have my t04r coming back soon so i could just swap the housings.

Ze engine bay is oogly, ooglier then the outside. But I'll get some pics soon and put a disclaimer with them too as it looks ghetto. Mainly cause I've only had it for 3 months, at this point i just want to know I have a solid motor with a solid tune, and then I will do the finish work, as opposed to how I'm going about my t2 which ive decided is the hard way.

I sorta like the glass moonroof thing, is it heavier or something?

And yea the t04z does seem big, but then i go look at the t78 in the t2's bay and I start feeling like the to4z is small. Then i see jw's bnr stage 4 and i think the t04z is big again lol.

anyway, its weird posting in 3rd gen specific.

I can put the hood through a few bake cycles, prime it 10 times, and the weave will still come out again after a few really hot sunny days.
