I have heard "stories" that people have developed leaks when going to synthetic due to the thiness of the oil. Like I said "stories" I have not had this experienced this to verify true or false
I can tell you first hand thay 18 out of 18 cars we swapped to synthetic oil

leaked after all from the same spot. These were cars that never had a leak

and the other 12 cars that didnt have the synthetic in them didnt leak.

In case you are wondering these were all Lincoln town cars and Caddillac

Fleetwoods of a limo company's cars I used to take care of.

They will tell you that the purity of the oil pushes all the "dirt" out

and causes leaks, sounds like BS to me. But yet there are plenty of

cars that run synthetic oil and dont leak, seems like certain cars dont like it

thats all
