Here is why I don't think the water thermosensor and the coolant temp sensor are the same. Note the differences between the test limits and also the differences between the torque requirements.

Ok... So all I have to do is get a new plug for the thermosensor and I should be good to go.. I didn't cut that one, it broke off. (I paid little attention as I have an aftermarket one)

But as for the level sensor (The one my dumbass cut) that one needs to be re-attached... But I cut the wire out of the harness by accident.. I'm guessing since it DOESN'T go to the ECU, it goes to the white plug on the harness that connects to the car's internal harness.. There IS a wire cut from there, I think it's blue? I don't remember. Not a big deal to fix, just a matter of doing it.

I just don't want anyone making a mistake that I could help them avoid. Nobody should have to be without their 7 for any longer than necessary!!!

Funny.. I fall RIGHT into that category!! haha

Well, sounds like it's not as bad as I thought.. I just need to get a new thermosensor plug (Whether or not it helps) and need to find where the level sensor plugs in so I can shut that damn buzzer off!

Thermosensor is needed for the car to run correctly... btw..

the coolant buzzer plug is supposed to run from the filler neck area to the right of the motor.. by where the MOP elec lines used to connect there should be a single spade connector for it.. find it.. i forgot to do mine a long time ago.. used to drive with the buzzer on all the time.. then i finally found it.. it had fell by the spark plugs.. its by that area.. so look around.

Yeah... Well, the problem is I destroyed my harness. I stripped it down and COMPLETELY removed everything not in use. In my search for wiring harness greatness I accidentally removed that one.. I mistaked it for one not in use.. I do remember where it connected to the harness, unfortunately that isn't physically there anymore. I just need to know what it connected to, so I can trace it to it's happy little home in the car.

Thanks for the info!
