IC won't make that big of a difference if I keep stock boost levels. I've already discussed that with another avid forum member which told me I have nothing worry about running ASP large as long as boost levels are within check.

Is 10 psi of cold air the same as 10 psi of hot air?

Ok, i skipped the thread but:

Letting the car hit ******* FUEL CUT as a means of boost controll might be the worst possible way of handing the problem.

Bobby, I had basically told him the same thing in another thread.

Unflood the car and drop in some new plugs. I would still suspect your ignition coil or coil harness or plug wires. Sounds to me like your not getting enough spark or no spark at all on the front rotor and that is why you are getting the carbon build up etc.

I said it like three times now but if the car will idle then your engine is not broke.

Ill get plugs for it and check the spark like ronin said as well, at least its some up lifting news!

It's not flooded though, it starts fine?

No not in terms of maps for the ECU, but 10 psi of the temp of the air with my IC is NOT too much for the power FC to handle or the injectors I have

dave, that is a little off.

Ive blown an engine (sideseal) that had compression still in the 50's on all faces on the front rotor.

it still idled alright, and even drove ok, but was defentally broken.

if there is a huge extreme like zero front and 90 rear then yeah, you have a big problem.

Nopistons:

you said that your boost would creep past your target and hit fuel cut. So you would just set your target low.

This isnt how you should run your car man. It isnt a piston motor. You have to TAKE CARE of it.

get the fuel system. You can justify dropping a few hundred bucks for some dumb rear light cover but cant spend the few hundred on a pump and secondary injectors+ tune?

Bobby, your right I shouldn't say that 100% of broken engines will not idle. I assume that a broken side seal is pretty rare at the least though. Also keep in mind he said he was getting someting like a 30psi reading on the front rotor. If that were true I doubt that engine would run.

Bobby how many engines have you actually built if you don't mind me asking. You got a lot of know how for someone your age.

My car isn't driven but 1 - 2 days a week bobby. You have to understand, I don't have the time right now to do all the injector stuff, I just don't drive the car. I have the fuel cut as a final saftey measure incase for some reason the need comes up when im driving that i have to go WOT (say merging onto traffic or something). My car is very well taken care of.
