He tears down motors inbetween races

Most of the time it isnt needed, but we can learn from every motor....

So let me get this right. Your saying that Dee has torn apart his motor about 18 or 19 times last year or two? And how many of those tear downs did he ask you to rebuild for him? I assume one or two of those builds you mentioned out of the twenty plus were your own engines but from what I remember you posting your red cars engines was only rebuilt once before. I guess maybe you put together and engine for your dads black car?

Sounds like you should start charging from what your telling us.

So dave,

what do you have against me?

Dee tears down his motors after every race. Not because he needs to, but because he wants to.

Im willing to bet that dee has built at least 15 motors for the last season and a half (he didnt make them all last year)

we also throw together spares pretty often.

To clear things up, i help dee ASSEMBLE the motors, he does the porting himself.

we might both build a rotor, and then stack it together, etc. Makes work go faster.

Well, when you get a ton of free seal kits and reuse a lot of parts, it isnt all that expensive to refresh motors.

The other thing is, on alcohol the motors run so clean you barerly have to wash anything after you take them apart. There is zero carbon buildup.

Plus, when motors do break (900+ rwhp motors do that sometimes) they usually dont blow apart like a gas motor due to the properties of alcohol when (which is super rare anyways) it detonates.

So you are hard pressed to fudge a rotor or housing, etc.

Whats with you and Dee having this thing about me not liking you? When did I ever attack you? All I did was ask you a question?

You said that you built twenty plus motors. I personally think you guys embelish the truth a bit from time to time and I like to call people out on it but don't confuse ball busting with some personal axe I have to grind. I'd do the same to anyone who stretchs the truth a bit. You can't seriously think that I would do any less for anyone who did the same. If I went on here and said that I worked part time for PFS because I am there from time to time or that I built my car from the ground up with no help from anyone aside from myself I would expect someone to bust my ***** or question that and I wouldn't get all pissed off about it either.

Anyway we are way off topic and nopistons94 asked me to let the thread get back on topic.
