I am getting ready to adapt an FD UIM to my S5 LIM

So would I still need to get an adapter???

I definitely don't want to pay hundreds, so if someone makes some or needs interest to make them, Count me in...

Bigger throttle plates

Straightened runners

Whynot?

I think FMIC using stock TII UIM looks pretty goofy.. Simplify!

I for one hate the look of the fc UIM, and you can't see or get to anything under it. For example vacuum leaks under there, its pretty hard to zero in on them. Not to mention fuel leaks etc. Fd uim is suppose to be good for 25rwhp if its ported. Thats what soul assassin told me.

+5mm on both secondary throttle plates is a big help too.

Unless you have a TMIC, the TII upper looks silly, IMO.

And not to mention no more nasty throttle cable wrapping around the entire engine bay.

What throttle cable would you use with this then?

My N/A one won't reach, and the TII one is really long..

I don't know for an fd throttle body. I am using the 3 rotor TB on my fd uim. I am going to use the n/a throttle cable. I was told that will work just fine.

Agreed. Advantages worth the effort.
